When it resets

How not to lose it
- Find your account open date in the issuer’s app. That, not January 1, is when this credit resets.
- Don’t wait for the last day. Statement credits can take days to post, and a purchase that settles after the window closes may not count.
- Check how you book. The terms tie this credit to a specific booking channel, and other channels won’t trigger it.
- Pay with the United Club Card. The credit only follows purchases charged to the card that carries it.
