What it is

One free night at a Category 1–4 World of Hyatt hotel or resort, issued within 10 weeks after each cardmember anniversary. Anniversary means 12 months after the account open date. The award covers one standard room and expires 12 months from issuance. It is not valid at Miraval, Hyatt Zilara, or Hyatt Ziva, or at hotels above Category 4.

When it resets

One window per account year. It starts on the date your account opened, not January 1, so check your account open date.

How not to lose it

  • Find your account open date in the issuer’s app. That, not January 1, is when this credit resets.
  • Don’t wait for the last day. Statement credits can take days to post, and a purchase that settles after the window closes may not count.
  • Pay with the World of Hyatt Credit Card. The credit only follows purchases charged to the card that carries it.
