Summarized from American Express’s published terms, checked September 28, 2026. Terms change — confirm details with American Express before you rely on them.
When it resets
Four windows a year: January–March, April–June, July–September and October–December.
The current window closes on December 31, 2026 — 91 days from today.
How not to lose it
- Plan one qualifying purchase per quarter. The windows close March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31.
- Don’t wait for the last day. Statement credits can take days to post, and a purchase that settles after the window closes may not count.
- Pay with the Hilton Honors Aspire. The credit only follows purchases charged to the card that carries it.
