How not to lose it

  • Enroll first. The terms say enrollment is required, and purchases made before you enroll generally don’t qualify.
  • You get two separate windows — use the first half by June 30 and the second by December 31. The halves don’t combine.
  • Don’t wait for the last day. Statement credits can take days to post, and a purchase that settles after the window closes may not count.
  • Pay with the Gold Card. The credit only follows purchases charged to the card that carries it.
